back!

and it's early. I'm jetlaggy and too excited to sleep. I have orientation for law school in 2.6 hours! I got home from Paris last night after a few stops in the UK, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Luckily the flights were relatively empty and I had a free seat next to me. Interestingly enough, both times on the opposite site of the empty seat was a older lady who complained of injuries that drank a lot of alcohol. Different people, but the same idea. The first one slipped while walking through a wine cellar in Italy and hurt her knee. She had an ace bandage wrapped around her leg and propped her leg on the empty seat between us so her foot would kick my knee pretty often. She also complained that she had muscle spasms to the flight attendant. Apparently her home remedy was gin, gin, red wine, red wine, red wine and another gin. She lined up her bottles in the seat pocket. The next lady had back problems and she pretty much went through her hotel's minibar on the flight. She swore a lot at her husband who was sitting on the other side of the aisle, from what I could hear (i was pretending to sleep the entire flight), she was upset that he drank some of the booze and because her carry on hurt her back.

Finally I'm back at home and I'm debating what to wear today. Silly. What the heck does 'Casual' mean exactly. We should switch to a 1-10 system.

1. nudity is A-ok
2. swimsuits
3. shorts ok, shirt or tank tops ok
4. shorts ok, collared shirt preferred
5. Jeans and shirt
6. Khakis and collared shirt
7. Tie required
8. Jacket required
9. Dark Suit
10. Black tie
