Anyways, yesterday morning I woke up and felt like trying something new. I opened up this Chinese Baptist Church cookbook and picked out this recipe for Char Siu Baos. I combined two recipes and went shopping. What amazed me most was that pre-made bbq pork was $8.99 a pound! Holy moly. I ended up just buying pork chops for $2.99 a pound, dicing it, pan-frying it, and then dousing it in hoisin sauce. It ended up a little watery, but still tasted just about right.
